Invention of the “rotating static mixer”

Milestone in mixing technology: Invention of the “rotating static mixer” – dynamic mixing without rinsing agent. The use of our disposable plastic mixer means that no environmentally harmful cleaning or rinsing agents are required. The mixer does not have to be disposed of as hazardous waste when cured.

Own production

1995

Production of small mixing and dosing machines for prototyping and tooling as well as the first large paste plant for tooling under own management

Extension of the production hall

1995

First extension of the production hall in Haingrund

Patents for the coating of renewable resources

1996

With the first boom: registration of patents for the coating of renewable resources (jute mats). These are coated with an expanding matrix using a centrifugal process, which is used for the production of headliners, interior door panels for car components.

SOMATA GmbH is founded

2016
SOMATA GmbH is founded

SOMATA GmbH was founded alongside TARTLER GmbH in order to manufacture special machines outside the dosing and mixing technology. It supplies TARTLER GmbH as a system manufacturer of assemblies – with a focus on automation of handling devices in connection with dosing and mixing technology. The business areas of SOMATA GmbH include the planning and production of these assemblies, as well as the implementation of granted patents.

Development of the cartridge mixer LC-DCM

2016
Development of the cartridge mixer LC-DCM

Tartler’s new mixer attachment can be docked to most commercially available professional multi-component cartridge guns. For the first time, the company is thus offering the possibility of exploiting the quality advantages of the dynamic synthetic resin mixture from series production in small quantity applications. This benefits all users of casting resins and adhesives who use cartridge guns for rework, repairs or surface optimization.

Foundation of the Research, Development and Demonstration Center (R.D.D. Center)

With the establishment of the FED Center, we have intensified our research activities in the fields of materials engineering, process optimization, fluid technology and process engineering. For this purpose, the new division of the Tartler Group will have its own team of development engineers and its own machinery.

Development of process-safe drum filling under vacuum (TAVA)

2017
Development of process-safe drum filling under vacuum (TAVA)

With the development of the TAVA 200 F, it is possible to fill a wide variety of materials – especially highly viscous, pasty substances – without air pockets. The drum/container is placed in a vacuum and filled under vacuum. This process enables material manufacturers to guarantee that no air is trapped in the material and ensures increased reliability in the further processing of their synthetic resins.

Development of dosing mixing head for high-precision application of small quantities

2019
Development of dosing mixing head for high-precision application of small quantities

The new LV 2/2 is a future-oriented application solution, especially for users in electrical encapsulation and adhesive technology who need to apply low-viscosity resins and hardeners in tiny droplets with pinpoint accuracy. Shot quantities of only 1.0 gram and mixing ratios from 100:5 to 100:20 are possible. An integrated load cell monitors the shot accuracy.

Vacuum degassing station T-EVAC

2019
Vacuum degassing station T-EVAC

A new level for product quality:  The vacuum degassing station T-EVAC for the process-integrated evacuation of air and moisture from synthetic resins and hardeners before dosing and mixing. We thus offer all users of the processes vacuum infusion, wet pressing, resin transfer molding (RTM) and pultrusion (extrusion) a further opportunity to significantly improve both their molding processes and product quality.
