Mechatronics engineers work in the assembly and maintenance of complex machines and systems in plant and mechanical engineering or at the customers and operators of these mechatronic systems. Mechatronics engineers carry out their work at various locations, primarily at assembly sites, in workshops or in the service area, independently in accordance with documentation and instructions and in compliance with the relevant regulations and safety provisions. They often work in a team and coordinate their work with upstream and downstream departments. Mechatronics engineers are qualified electricians in the sense of the accident prevention regulations.<\/p>\n
